HYDROLOGICAL DATA USERS GROUP
The purpose of setting up State level
Hydrological Data Users Groups (HDUGs) is:
1.
To provide a
common platform for discussions between hydrological data users and data
providers.
2.
To create
awareness amongst users about HIS data and educate them on the potentials and
limitations of HIS.
3.
To understand,
analysis and update information on the changing needs of data users from a macro
level perspective.
4.
To review and
recommend addition/ deletions in the data collection networks and related HIS,
if appropriate.
The government of Himachal
Pradesh, has notified the Hydrological Data Users Group ( HDUG) vide Pr. Secy (IPH)
Notification No. IPH-B(F)2-4/2004-III Dated 12-9-07 comprising of the
